Smugglers Notch

Hi there,

I didn't talk so much about our vacation in Vermont. I'm doing it now with a couple of pictures and videos. Don't expect too many details, the post is in English !

That was our room, exactly, the 42.

Ready for skiing !

First two days, the weather and the snow were good even if it was very very cold. But it rained all day on December 24th, and after that the weather turned warmer but not so nice and the snow was horrible.

Sceneries are amazing !

That was our first ride all together ! Yoran and me waited for this ride for 10 years ! And they are doing great !

Now, all of them are able to take the lift alone and to go down alone.

It was nice all this snow, but very very very cold ! My eEropean body didn't fit with the Vermont's temperatures !

The children took two hours of ski lessons each morning, so we had two hours to ski together alone and to take romantic lift...

...or not !

New Vermont haircut for Yoran :

Smugglers Notch is very different from the European ski resort. I mean, there was no village before. That one have been entirely build, the rooms, the store, the restaurant and the lifts... That looks strange for us. We can't visit the village after skiing, drinking  hot chocolate on the slope, or eating tartiflette in local restaurant on the evening.

Instead of discovering the local place, you can go to the fun zone in order to play with kids.

We enjoyed playing ping pong, mini-golf... there are a lot of entertainment after skiing. Many activities are organized after the ski day, like bonfire, hot chocolate...

We tried the pool and the spa as well. It was so warm inside that I got steam on my camera !

We had fun time in Vermont, cold but fun !

En tt cas ça avait l'air chouette et contente que vs ayez pu skier tt les 2!!
